Utilita Arena Birmingham, previously known as Arena Birmingham, is host to many large sports events and concerts with a capacity of 15,800. Arena Birmingham opened in 1991.

Holders Lane Woods is to be found in Selly Park and Moseley. The route along the Rea Valley and the River Rea runs alongside the wonderful open space and dog owners delight.

Thinktank is a Science Museum in Millennium Point, Eastside, Birmingham that opened in 2001. It replaced Birmingham Museum of Science & Industry on Newhall Street, which closed in 1997.
The Birmingham Museum Collection Centre is a museum collection facility in Nechells, Birmingham on Dollman Street. Now run by the Birmingham Museums Trust (Birmingham City Council until 2012).
Kings Heath Village Square is near All Saints Church in Kings Heath at the Vicarage Road and High Street junction.
West Park is in Wolverhampton. This 43 acre park is one of the best unspoilt Victorian parks left in England.
The Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Centre is situated in Edgbaston, Birmingham on the Pershore Road near Cannon Hill Park. It was formerly called the Birmingham Nature Centre until 2014.

Sheldon Country Park is situated in Sheldon, Birmingham. Starting at the Coventry Road, there is an Airport viewing area close to Marston Green. Westley and Hatchford Brooks flow through.
St Paul's Square is the only remaining Georgian square in Birmingham. It is situated in the Jewellery Quarter. The earliest buildings were completed by 1780. Also called Titty-Bottle Park.
St Martin's Square opened at the new Bullring in 2003 near the Grade II* listed church known as St Martin in the Bullring. The Spiceal Street development was built and opened in 2011.
Alpha Tower is a Grade II listed office building and according to English Heritage “.... is one of the most aesthetically successful office buildings in Birmingham ...".
The Birmingham Council House in Victoria Square is home to Birmingham City Council. The original building was built between 1874 and 1879 and is Grade II* listed.
